Volunteers are Amazing!

Are you looking to make a difference in your community?

Become one of our valued volunteers! There are many different ways you can volunteer with WDVS.

  • On Call Advocates: Answer crisis calls on the 24/7 hotline, work one on one with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. You are on call based on your availability.
  • Communty Volunteers: Help with fundraisers, outreach, office tasks, babysit during Support Groups and more.

Help us rebuild safe and hopeful lives.

Volunteers are critical to our work at WDVS. From answering calls for help to working directly with clients as they rebuild their lives our volunteers are trained to make a real difference. On Call Advocates receive 20 plus hours of free training. All of which can be done at a convenient time for you!

All applicants must be drug free and able to pass a background check.

Contact our Program Director, Stephanie Johnson, for more information about training and volunteering. Our office number is 775-625-1313.
